Ministry of Steel – Organizational Structure Overview

The Ministry of Steel operates through a hierarchical structure based on defined functions and responsibilities. At the top is the Minister of Steel, followed by the Minister of State for Steel. The Secretary heads the administrative functioning of the Ministry, supported by the Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor and several Joint Secretaries.

Reporting to the Joint Secretaries are Directors, Deputy Director Generals, the Economic Advisor, and the Chief Controller. These officers manage different departments, while Under Secretaries oversee daily operations across key divisions and public sector undertakings (PSUs).
