  5. Remained Leader of opposition in the Assembly from March 1998 to March 2003
  6. Remained P.C.C. President in H.P.
  7. Five terms as elected Member of Parliament and seven terms as elected Member of Legislative Assembly.
  • Sh. Virbhandra Singh son of Late Raja Padam Singh of Bushahar State of H.P. is one of the Senior most Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) in the 15th Lok Sabha starting his first term in 1962. He has never lost any election of M.P. or MLA during last 47 yrs. (except once in 1977, when congress was wiped out in the country.
