17 items(manuals) prescribed in clause (b) sub-section 1 of Section 4 which every public authority is required to publish within one hundred and twenty days from the enactment of this Act.

1. Particulars of steel Ministry's organisation, functions and duties      हिन्दी मै
2. Powers and duties of officers and employees
3. Procedure followed in the decision making process including channels of supervision and accountability हिन्दी मै
4. Norms set by Ministry for the discharge of its functions
5. The rules, regulations, instructions, manuals and records, held by Ministry of Steel or under its control or used by its employees for discharging its functions
The Ministry of Steel follows Department of Personnel & Training’s Manual of Office Procedure, rules/regulations/instructions issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Public Enterprises, etc. In addition to the above, Small Scale Industries (SSI) Guidelines and Guidelines for Research proposals framed by Technical Wing are used for the discharge of functions of the Ministry.
6. Statement of the categories of documents that are held by Ministry of Steel or under its control
The documents held by the Ministry of Steel are: Annual Report, Detailed Demands for Grants of the Ministry and Outcome Budget of Ministry.
7. The particulars of any arrangement that exits for consultation with or representation by the members of the public in relation to the formulation of its policy or implementation thereof
8. Boards, councils, committees and other bodies consisting of two or more persons constituted as its part or for the purpose of its advice, and as to whether meeting of those boards, councils, committees and other bodies are open to the public, or the minutes of such meetings are accessible for public
9. Directory of the Ministry's Officers and employees
10. Monthly remuneration received by each of officers and employees

12. Execution of subsidy programmes, Concessions, permits or authorisations granted by the Ministry

14. Information held by the Ministry in the electronic form
Annual Report; Detailed Demands for Grants of the Ministry of Steel; and Outcome Budget of Ministry of Steel; Steel production for different years; address of various units; general overview of the steel sectors; some data on iron & steel export and import; some old parliament questions relevant to steel industry; market prices; are the document/information available in electronic form.
15. Particulars of facilities available to citizens for obtaining information including the working hours of a library or reading room, if maintained for public use
Facilitation Centre counter of the Ministry of Steel is near Gate No.5, Basement, Udyog Bhawan, Maulana Azad Road, New Delhi - 110107. The working hour is 10.00 AM to 5 PM. The Ministry of Steel does not maintain library or reading room for the public.
