The Ministry of Steel follows Department of Personnel & Training’s Manual of Office Procedure, rules/regulations/instructions issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Public Enterprises, etc. In addition to the above, Small Scale Industries (SSI) Guidelines and Guidelines for Research proposals framed by Technical Wing are used for the discharge of functions of the Ministry.

Particulars of facilities available to citizens for obtaining information including the working hours of a library or reading room, if maintained for public use
Facilitation Centre counter of the Ministry of Steel is near Gate No.5, Basement, Udyog Bhawan, Maulana Azad Road, New Delhi - 110011. The working hour is 10.00 AM to 5 PM. The Ministry of Steel does not maintain library or reading room for the public.
